SNL Film LLC is a film and TV production company founded by writer, director and producer Nick Wilkinson. Executive Vice President of Development and Production Lisa G. Black brings over 30 years of award-winning experience across film, marketing, and finance.

The company is engaged in all stages from script to screen, with a focus upon high quality, comedic drama that appeals to a broad, multigenerational audience. Our UK subsidiary Penalty Spot Pictures offers production services to American independent producers seeking to maximise their budgets and access UK tax incentives.

Originally from England and now a US citizen, Nick's journey spans multinational tech leadership, published fiction (under the pen name John Willins), and an expanding body of screenwriting and directing work. He directed the award-winning short The Fast Track Program and wrote, directed and produced the feature Death on the Brandywine. He plays football weekly and has competed in tournaments worldwide — which serves as the inspiration for Still Alive (and Kicking).

An award-winning producer with over 30 years of experience across film, marketing, and finance. Credits include Miles, The Bird Catcher, Almost Paris, First Snow, and Death on the Brandywine. Co-Chair of the Producers Guild of America in the Capital Region. Holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Leadership, and a BA in English Literature. Played Division 1 soccer at Boston University.
